Exaptive encourages conversation, action for innovation

(September 18, 2019) - Exaptive, Inc., CEO Dave King will provide the keynote address at the annual Oklahoma City Innovation District Breakfast. The breakfast is an opportunity for innovative business and community leaders to learn about plans for the district.

King’s address will focus on data-driven strategies for connecting teams across industries. He’ll also incorporate the attendees in a demonstration of how to use data, technology, and intention to facilitate innovation.

Exaptive enjoys turning innovation into action instead of a buzzword. The tech company sponsors a monthly, free, community meetup called Data+Creativity. King founded the group in 2016. It has grown into a tradition of excellent speakers on a variety of topics related to innovation, and engaging, audience-led discussion. The crowd represents a wide range of scientific knowledge, from doctors and climate experts to citizen scientists and science enthusiasts.

This month, Erika Block, CEO of Saganworks (www.saganworks.com), will explain how mapping out walking paths inspired her to start a software platform for data storage that leverages some of the tricks our brains use to store memories.
